The light sandblast finish on this pipe exhibits stunning ring grain on the bowl and shank of the pipe. The briar cap comfortably fits into a delrin mount inside the top of the pipe bowl. The cap holds the tobacco and absorbs the heat as the smoke filters through the hollow body of the pipe creating one of the most enjoyable smokes around. The cap on this particular pipe is an ebony sandblast with visible birdseye flowing from side to side. It is unbelievably light weight at only 1.8 ounces.
