Wonderful straight grain wraps around the bowl of this piece on all sides. Peder's use of finishing here provides an incredible contrast effect between the straight grain and the areas offsetting the grain. There is wonderful plateau here and beautiful shape selection. An acrylic ring is inserted on the shank that is offset from the tenon by a half an inch. Great wall thickness will provide for a cool smoking experience. Stellar pipe!
